About the Event
Master Chef Junior gets a local makeover in Monterey on Sunday, October 25. Renowned Monterey-area chefs will put their skills to the test at the Cherish Food Fight, a benefit for Monterey County’s Cherish Receiving Center. Chefs will be presented with a basket of “mystery ingredients” and will face a tight deadline to create something delicious to eat.
The Cherish Food Fight is two culinary contests in one. Young chefs from Junior Chef Stars will go head-to-head using their own mystery ingredients to whip up exciting creations.
The Cherish Food Fight is a fundraiser for the Cherish Receiving Center, which is the only facility in Monterey County providing a safe transitional space for children and youth who have been removed from their homes.
