Evening Child Care Worker, Concord, CA
3 pm - 11 pm, Sunday - Thursday
The Youth Specialist is responsible for the care and supervision of children and youth placed at the Receiving Center. Major responsibilities include providing care and supervision of youth, completing youth screenings, implementing a youth's service and safety plans, working one-on-one with youth utilizing interventions in support of identified behaviors, medication administration, documentation, transporting youth, liaison with public health nurse and county social workers, and maintaining the center site
Do You Qualify?

BA or BS degree in social work, psychology or related field with 1 year experience in a child welfare or behavioral health field with children with complex trauma and resultant challenging behaviors Or 2 full-time years' experience in a child welfare or behavioral health field with children with complex trauma and resultant challenging behaviors.
Do You Qualify?

BA/BS in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with at least 1 year of experience in child welfare/behavioral health with youth who have experienced complex trauma, or
-
2 years of full-time equivalent experience in child welfare/behavioral health with youth who have experienced complex trauma.
Overnight Child Care Worker in Concord, CA
Part Time 11:00pm - 7:00am, Friday & Saturday
The Youth Specialist is responsible for the overnight care and supervision of youth at the Receiving Center. This includes implementing trauma-informed interventions, supporting safety and service plans, administering medication, and maintaining strong professional relationships with youth and staff.
