Making Families Stronger with Useful Tools and Services
Aspiranet’s Pro Family Parent Mentoring program consists of a family-focused team that aims to help families thrive. The program has been developed to increase family autonomy and self sufficiency, increase in family sense of safety and improve in family sense of well being.
The Pro Family Parent Mentoring program has been serving parents with children who are regional center consumers in Orange County for over 9 years. Parent Mentors are assigned to assist each family to evaluate and help meet family support plan goals, while serving as a source of support for the family. Other services include weekly in-home case management, connections to resources, organizations and support at IEP’s.
The useful tools and services provided by the Pro Family Parent Mentoring program allows families to successfully identify challenges and stress factors and overcome obstacles, resulting in a stronger family unit. The program currently serves 59 families throughout Orange County.
