Helping to Heal Heroes from the Inside Out
Aspiranet knows that good mental health is an important component to strengthening relationships, empowering individuals and promoting overall well-being. Studies show that almost everyone, at some point in their lives, experiences depression, anxiety or emotional trauma. In fact, an estimated 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in any given year.
Aspiranet provides an array of outpatient therapy, counseling support, psychiatric services and educational programs to help children, parents and families cope when faced with emotional challenges. Our behavioral health and counseling service providers help more than 800 individuals and families each year and partner with dozens of city, county, community and health care providers to reach as many people as possible. Help is out there and Aspiranet is only a phone call away.
With the help of a highly qualified staff of compassionate providers, Aspiranet’s clients are led through a process of goal-setting and discovery to help them to make positive changes and achieve greater levels of self-satisfaction. Our therapists treat common problems including: addiction, anger management, divorce recovery, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, grief and loss, conflict resolution, and parent-child relationships. We concentrate on goal building, strengthening family relationships, reducing conflict, building communication skills, and enhancing the ability to manage worries and stress.
Everyone, even heroes, needs a little help now and then. For more than 75 years, Aspiranet has been helping individuals and families throughout California find life-changing solutions that support security, self-sufficiency, and a sense of well-being and belonging. Because families come in many different shapes and sizes, our programs come in a variety of forms also. What doesn’t differ is Aspiranet’s underlying goal – to encourage, teach, and empower people to improve their lives and create better futures.
