Salon Elite gathers 2010 holiday donations for Aspiranet
Salon Elite in Ventura, CA provided an innovative way to help the Aspiranet CMFRT program during the 2010 holiday season.CMFRT is designed to provide flexible and grassroots support to youth and families facing a wide variety of challenges in their lives. CMFRT strengthens families through empowerment to overcome their challenges and connect to resources and support in their local communities.
Salon Elite had three types of gift baskets on display at the salon throughout the holidays. The first basket had basic home needs, the second had items for a family game night, and the third had goodies for a family movie night.
The staff at Salon Elite encouraged their clients to make a cash donation of $25.00 to provide a gift basket for a family in need during the holidays in Ventura County. Each basket was intended for recipient families to use to spend time together and discover the importance of collaboration to face family challenges.
“Ventura Aspiranet thanks Salon Elite for supporting our efforts to connect families in the most basic ways through our CMFRT program,” said District Director Kris Bennett. “We were able to provide for all the families in the program due to their tremendous efforts!”
